Dubai / international client coordination

01 / Perspective

Plan the local requirements before registering.

A Singapore company needs a practical local administration plan as well as an incorporation application. ACRA requires a Singapore registered office and at least one director meeting its local residency rules at registration.

IA Governance Solutions coordinates the client-side preparation and the work of an appropriately registered Singapore corporate service provider. We clarify ownership, documents, provider responsibilities and ongoing support before the application starts. We do not present IA Governance as a Singapore-registered filing provider.

02 / Scope

What the support can cover.

Each engagement is scoped around the actual requirement. Only the workstreams that add value are included.

Clarify the proposed activities, markets, shareholders and purpose of the Singapore entity.

06 / Questions

Useful distinctions.

01Is a locally resident director required?+

ACRA requires at least one director meeting its local residency rules during registration. The appointed Singapore provider should confirm the suitability of the proposed arrangements before an application.

02Does setting up a company guarantee permission to live or work in Singapore?+

No. Incorporation, immigration permission and employment authorisation are separate matters. Any immigration scope must be assessed independently.

03Who makes the Singapore filings?+

The appointed Singapore corporate service provider or another eligible authorised person handles the applicable filings. IA Governance coordinates the agreed client-side work and document process.
